Arusha national park a natural puzzle from flamingos to volcanoes. The park is very close to Moshi town and Arusha city. It is an ideal day trip destination for many visitors even for those who are attending seminars, workshops and conducting business in Arusha and Moshi.

It offers opportunity to the visitors to see a variety of wildlife in different habitats within a short time, unlike other national parks in Tanzania. Its environment comprises grazing plains, swamps, lakes, montane forests and volcanoes all within an area of 137 km2 . The most striking feature is mount meru, the third highest mountain in sub Saharan Africa, and the second highest peak in Tanzania. There are several alkaline lakes, and the spectacular Ngurdoto crater. And diversity of mammal species such as elephants buffalo, giraffes, walebucks warthogs and various primates including the most beautiful black and white colobus monkeys also different types of bird species can be seen.

Where one   can see flocks of flamingoes on these shallow soda lakes.

A trek up to the summit of mount meru is allowed but with armed guard game (ranger) and it is a marvelous natural experience. Game drive in this park is very enjoyable and rally big experience of a life time.
