DAY 1: ARRIVING

Picked up from Kilimanjaro airport with your driver and driven to Arusha town where you will be dropped at the hotel for overnight, transfer from airport to the hotel will take 45 minutes.

DAY 2: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

Safari to Tarangire National Park via Tanzania tours starts at 08.30 am, for about 2hrs. This park is often referred to as the “home of elephants”, The park runs along the line of the Tarangire River and is mainly made up of low-lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor. Its natural vegetation mainly consists of Acacia woodland and giant African Baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the south. Both the river and the swamps act like a magnet for wild animals, during Tanzania’s dry season.  Other animals to be spotted in Tanzania tours include leopards, lions, giraffes and even tree-climbing pythons. After full day game drive in Tarangire, later evening you will drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight

DAY 3: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast we head towards the Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We head to the central park area, We arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park. Will continue with a game drive until sunset where you will drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight

DAY 4: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK – FULL DAY SAFARI

Another full day game drive in Serengeti with Tanzania tours.  Be one of only a few fortunate people to glide in a Hot Air Balloon  over the Serengeti Plains via Tanzania tours. Floating silently above the awakening bush, while spotting wildlife and enjoying Tanzania tours, the amazing scenery of Africa.
The visitor’s center not far from the Serengeti Seronera Lodge and public campsites, is well worth a visit after the morning’s game drive. This nicely designed center, offers some interesting wildlife displays as well as a gift shop selling information leaflets and maps of the area.
In the afternoon we will do game on route to Northern part of Serengeri at Kogatende where is the great wildebeest migration will be at the moment

DAY 5: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK – MIGRATION TRACKING

 

Drive to Mara river for tracking of wildebeest migration crossing the Mara river. This is the best time for watching the crossing of thousands of wildebeest scooted with zebra and the cat’s family. In this part the big heads of wildebeest cross the river and the border to Kenya Masai Mara. This ecosystem of Masai Mara through Tanzania tours is happening all over a year of which animals migrate according to the raining season. In the evening drive, back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 5: SERENGETI- NGORONGORO

In the morning you will drive to Central Serengeti with half day game drive in Serengeti, this will start from early in the morning until lunch time when you will drive to Ngorongoro at a rim of crater for dinner and overnight

DAY 6: NGORONGORO CRATER

After breakfast via Tanzania tours we descend 600m into this magnificent crater for a full-day game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely crowded African wildlife areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhino. Supported by year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro conservation area supports a vast variety of animals,
which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, Black Rhino, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its huge population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard.
