Selous/Ruaha /Mikumi 10 Days 19 Nights

Day 1: Arrival  Dare S Salaam

Arrive at Julius Nyerere International Airport  (DSM)as per  your flight arrival time met by a guide from wonder routes adventure who will drive you to your hotel for diner and overnight dare s salaam.

Day 2: Dar Es Salaam Selous Game Reserve.

Breakfast at the lodge depart from Dar E S Salaam with four wheel drive customized safari vehicle to selous game reserve and arrived at Rufiji river camp for later lunch. After lunch leave for afternoon game drive in the reserve, then return to Rufiji river camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: selous game reserve

Enjoy a full day game drive in the reserve. After breakfast leave the camp with an open four wheel drive customized safari  vehicle for game viewing . enjoy and explore the bush where you can see diversity of different wild animals such as wild dog (hunting dog) a very rare and elusive specie to see in the northern circuit national parks. Others are water bucks, bushbucks, southern reedbucks. Sable antelopes, lions and greater kudus are also frequent in this area. All meals and overnight at the Rufiji. River camp.

Day 4: Selous Game Reserve

Today is a walk talk day! And boating safari day!  After breakfast leave the camp with an armed ranger on a walking safari in the reserve where you will enjoy the scenery, different plants, birds, insects and footprints of wild animals can all be of a great experience. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a boat safari where you can explore the different channels and lakes of the Rufiji river system. Surrounded by hippos and crocodiles. A  large number of water birds can be seen, you can be able to see other land mammals such as elephants, giraffe impalas and many more others. All the meals and overnight at Rufiji river camp.

Day 5: Selous Game Reserve

Breakfast at the camp then leave for another full day game drive in the selous game reserve meals and overnight at the Rufiji river camp.

Day 6: Selous Game   Reserve  Mikumi National Park.

After breakfast depart to Mikumi National Park with picnic lunch boxes. Game  drive end route towards the camp. Dinner and overnight at Vuma hill tented camp.

Day 7: Mikumi  National Park To Ruaha National Park.

After breakfast drive to Ruaha National Park which represent a transition zone where eastern and southern African flora and fauna overlap. It is famous for some rare African wild animals species such as sable antelope, roan antelope and  big herds of elephants lunch at the lodge followed by game drive in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Ruaha sunset mountain lodge.

Day 8: Ruaha National Park

Enjoy a full day game drive in the park. The park has more than  500 species of birds  that have been sighted. The prolific Ruaha river is the retreat for many animals during the dry season that features large numbers of hippos and crocodiles and attract lions, leopards, hunting dogs. Water bucks, impala giraffe, warthog, eland and grant gazelles others are  ostrich, cheater, jackals that may be seen on the plains,, meals and overnight at Ruaha sunset mountain lodge.

Day 9: Ruaha National Park Mikumi National  Park

Early breakfast at the lodge, then drive to Mikumi National Park, for lunch, then after lunch leave  for afternoon game drive. The park is well known for having abundance of wild animals such as elephants in a very big population also giraffes, zebras, elands, buffaloes, greater kudus roan and sable antelopes and herds of wildebeest predators are also roaming around the park such as leopards, wild dogs  (hunting dogs) jackals and also tree climbing lions. Dinner and overnight at vuma hill tented lodge.

Day 10: Mikumi National Park – Dar Es Salaam

Breakfast at  the lodge, then leave for morning game drive around the park . Then return to the lodge for early lunch then after lunch depart back to dare s salaam city to your hotel.  Dinner and overnight.
